Today was a turning point. Standing in front of six meters of paint, I let go of what wasn’t working - scraping back, simplifying, clearing space for the piece to breathe. It’s strange how something can feel so necessary one day and completely wrong the next, but that’s part of the process: listening, adjusting, trusting.

After a tougher day yesterday, today felt lighter, more intuitive. Each mark now feels more intentional, like the painting is finally speaking in its own voice. I can see the finish line from here… almost there.

This 6 meter New York City painting has been a journey of patience, layers, and constant evolution. Now I’m in the final stretch… almost ready to let it go and begin the next one.
